Roll-to-sheet cutting machines play an important role in industrial production. However, improper operation may lead to safety accidents. To ensure the safety of operators and the normal operation of the equipment, these safety operating procedures are specially formulated.
I. Preparations Before Operation
1.Operators must undergo professional training, be familiar with the structure, performance, operation methods and safety precautions of roll-to-sheet cutting machines. It is strictly 2.prohibited for untrained personnel to operate the equipment without authorization.
3.Check whether the appearance of the equipment is damaged, whether the connections of various components are firm, and whether the transmission device is in normal condition. If 4.any abnormality is found, it should be reported for maintenance in time. It is strictly prohibited to operate the equipment with faults.
5.Check the installation of cutting tools to ensure that the tools are installed correctly and firmly, and that the cutting edges are free from defects and blunting. Select appropriate tool 6.types and specifications according to the requirements of the materials to be cut.
7.Clear the debris around the equipment to ensure that the working area is clean and unobstructed, and that there are no obstacles blocking the line of sight for operation or affecting the safe evacuation of personnel.
8.Check the electrical system, including power cords, plugs, switches, controllers, etc., to ensure that there is no damage or leakage, and that the grounding protection device is reliably connected.
II. Equipment Startup
1.Turn on the main power switch. If the equipment has a preheating requirement, let it preheat first. The preheating time should be carried out in accordance with the instructions in the 2.equipment manual. It is strictly prohibited to shorten the preheating time.
3.Start the transmission system of the cutting equipment and observe whether its operation is smooth, and whether there are any abnormal sounds or vibrations. If there are problems, 4.stop the machine immediately to check the cause and eliminate the faults.
5.Check whether the rotation direction of the cutting tools is correct. You can make a preliminary judgment through jog operation. If the direction is wrong, you must stop the machine and adjust the motor wiring.
III. Installation and Adjustment of Materials
1.When moving rolls of materials, appropriate handling tools such as forklifts, cranes or manual trolleys should be used. It is strictly prohibited to move overweight rolls of materials directly by manpower to prevent personnel from being crushed.
2.Install the roll of materials on the unwinding device of the equipment, ensure that the roll is installed firmly and concentrically, and adjust the tension of the roll. The tension should be 3,set reasonably according to the properties and thickness of the materials to avoid slack or excessive stretching of the materials during the cutting process.
4,Guide the head of the roll of materials through various guide rollers, conveyor rollers and other components to make it enter the cutting area smoothly. Pay attention to checking whether there is any jamming or deviation of the materials during the conveying process. If so, adjust it in time.
IV. Cutting Operations
1.Set the cutting parameters, such as cutting length, width, quantity, cutting speed, etc., in the equipment control system according to the cutting requirements. The parameter settings should be accurate. It is strictly prohibited to change the parameters that have not been confirmed at will.
2.Start the cutting tools to start the cutting operation. During the cutting process, the operator should closely monitor the running state of the equipment, including the working condition of the cutting tools, the conveying condition of the materials, the cutting quality, etc. If any abnormality occurs, stop the machine immediately for handling.
3.It is strictly prohibited to touch the cutting tools, rolls of materials or other moving parts by hand during the operation of the equipment to prevent mechanical injury accidents. If it is necessary to adjust or check the equipment, the machine must be stopped first and wait until the cutting tools have completely stopped rotating before carrying out the operation.
4,When the cutting operation is completed or needs to be paused, stop the operation of the cutting tools first, then stop the conveying of the materials, and finally turn off the transmission system and the main power switch of the equipment.
V. Equipment Maintenance and Servicing
1.Regularly clean the equipment to remove dust, debris and other sundries on the surface and inside of the equipment, keep the equipment clean and hygienic, and prevent sundries from entering the transmission components or the electrical system and affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
2.Regularly check the wear condition of the cutting tools. When the tools are worn to a certain extent (such as the cutting edges are blunted and the diameter of the tools is reduced), they should be ground or replaced in time to ensure the cutting quality and efficiency.
3.Check the transmission components of the equipment, such as bearings, gears, chains, belts, etc., regularly add lubricating oil or replace worn components to ensure that the transmission system operates smoothly and reliably.
4.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the electrical system, including checking whether the connections of electrical components are loose, whether the lines are aged, and 5.whether the insulation performance is good. If any problems are found, repair or replace them in time to prevent electrical faults from causing safety accidents.
6.Regularly check the safety protection devices of the equipment, such as protective doors, protective covers, emergency stop buttons, etc., to ensure that the safety protection devices are intact and function properly. It is strictly prohibited to remove or damage the safety protection devices privately.
VI. Safety Precautions
1.Operators must wear personal protective equipment that meets the requirements during the operation process, such as work clothes, safety helmets, protective gloves, protective glasses, etc., to prevent mechanical injuries, dust pollution, noise hazards, etc.
2.It is strictly prohibited to place flammable and explosive items around the equipment. Sparks generated during the cutting process may cause fire or explosion accidents. If the equipment is used in an environment with flammable and explosive gases or dust, corresponding explosion-proof measures must be taken.
3.In case of equipment failure or abnormal situation during the operation of the equipment, immediately press the emergency stop button to stop the operation of the equipment, and 4.report to the superior leader or maintenance personnel in time. It is strictly prohibited to forcibly start the equipment before the faults are eliminated.
5.When maintaining or servicing the equipment, a warning sign such as "Under maintenance, do not switch on" must be hung in a conspicuous position on the equipment to prevent others from misoperating and causing accidents. Before maintenance, the maintenance personnel should cut off the power supply of the equipment and take necessary safety measures, 6.such as locking the switch and releasing the energy storage device.
7.It is strictly prohibited to operate the equipment when drunk or in poor health. Ensure that the operator keeps a clear mind and good physical condition during the operation.
The above safety operating procedures should be strictly observed. Operators should establish a sense of safety and conscientiously perform their duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of roll-to-sheet cutting machines.
